You can set the system to immediately confirm the appointment as soon as the patient books or you can set the system so you manually accept or decline appointments.
When you use the feature for "Pending" appointments you will see a "Pending" tab on the dashboard when an appointment is in the queue to be approved or declined.
The schedule will reflect the appointment with a "Pending" icon over it.
To set up the Pending feature go to Settings>General>System>Scheduling section - Auto Accept Portal Appointments field. Select to enable this feature or not. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Save.
Customize Portal Emails
Accepted Appointment Request (Portal)
Enter custom text you want to appear on the Accepted Appointment Request. You will also have an opportunity to write custom text when you select the Pending tab on your dashboard and select Accept appointment before sending the response.
Declined Appointment Request
Enter custom text you want to appear on the Declined Appointment Request. You will also have an opportunity to write custom text when you select the Pending tab on your dashboard and Decline the appointment before sending the response.
